Transactions Sidebar and Account Views
The transactions page has been improved. Bank connection issues are shown prominently with a button to repair them, the sidebar is easier to use, and it looks much better on your phone.

Review Session: Skip Means Skip
When you skip a transaction during a review session, it's now skipped for good — it won't cycle back to the end of the queue. The completion screen shows how many transactions you categorized and how many you skipped.

Free Plan — Connect One Bank
Tend now has a permanent free plan. You can connect one bank and use all of Tend's planning features with no time limit. A subscription ($7.99/month) unlocks unlimited bank connections.
If you already have multiple banks connected and your subscription expires, you'll be guided through choosing which one to keep — or you can start fresh.

The Budget Module: The Annual Plan and Special Funds
Tend now supports envelope-style "funds" for special and unexpected expenses. Assign all your cash to categories at the start of a budget period. Fixed expenses, savings, and discretionary categories are auto-assigned by pulling the information from your calendar and annual plan. What's left is for you to manually fund your Special and Unexpected categories.
An annual plan shows your 12-month commitments at a glance, and is used to calculate your weekly discretionary spending target.
Budget periods can be set to any time span you'd like: monthly, weekly, bi-weekly, to ideally match your pay periods.

Rename Transactions, Adjust the Date, Add a Note
You can now rename a transaction, adjust its date, and add notes. Notes appear alongside the transaction name in table views. The original bank description is always available in the transaction detail view.
Adjusting the date is especially useful when a payment for one month clears in a different month — common when payments fall on the 1st or last day of the month.

Invite Others to Your Tend Household
You can now invite your spouse, partner, or financial advisor into your Tend household. They get their own login and can manage your finances with you. The owner of the household is the only one who needs to pay for a Tend subscription — all other members can use it free.

Create Multiple Households
You can now create multiple households in a single Tend account. A household is a collection of accounts and calendar schedules — like an "organization" or "workspace" in other apps. Your Tend subscription lets you create as many as you want.
For example: a personal household for your own accounts, a family household for shared finances, and a business household for work expenses — all in one place.
