Tend is the best budgeting app I've tried—and I've tried many: Mvelopes, Quicken, Monarch, Banktivity, spreadsheets, and YNAB, to name a few. None of them provide a clear picture of what's really happening with your money. Not so with Tend...
I've had a hard time committing to a money-tracking app as they are too time-consuming. Tend is the first one that genuinely seems to "inTend" for you to accomplish knowing where your money goes AND easily keep tracking it...

Common questions
Is Tend's free tier really free?
Yes, and it doesn't expire. The free tier is the full calendar-based budgeting app with automatic transaction syncing for one bank.
What does the paid tier add?
More banks. Tend Plus connects any number of banks, so you can manage all your accounts without any manual entry.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. The whole point Tend is to stop paying for things you don't value. Tend makes it easy to leave if it's not for you. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Does Tend work for couples or households?
Yes. The household owner pays for Tend Plus, and invited members, such as a spouse, partner, or financial advisor, get their own login at no extra cost.
Can I have multiple households?
Yes. Tend Plus allows you to create and manage as many households as you'd like. A household is like a workspace. If you have personal finances, family accounts, or a small-business, you can create a household for each and switch between them easily.
Is my data safe?
Your bank credentials are stored by Plaid. Tend is allowed read-only access to your transactions and balances when you authenticate with your bank. Your data is encrypted and Tend has never sold or shared it. See the privacy policy.
