James Kerr

Founder

James Kerr is the founder of Tend Cash.

James started building Tend Cash in 2024 while living in a small, two-bedroom apartment in San Francisco. He now lives with his wife Vanessa and their three children in Walnut Creek, CA.

He studied film production, accounting, and computer information systems at Chapman University in Orange County, CA. He's worked as a full-stack developer and UI designer for the last 15 years.

When he's not thinking about personal finance software, he enjoys playing soccer, decluttering his house, and sitting outside on a brisk morning to drink coffee and contemplate the deeper things of life.
